Global CIO Forum in association with Atos and Nvidia organised a virtual summit on Transforming Artificial Intelligence and High Performance Computing landscape on 16th September. The event was focused on how high performance computing is now a part of weather forecasting, energy exploration, fluid dynamics, life sciences, amongst others. Simulations are fusing artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, big data analytics, edge-computing to solve tomorrows problems of science and the world. The event was streamed live from the Global CIO Forum virtual arena.

Dr Cedric Bourrasset, High Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence Global Business Development talked about advancements in high performance computing and highlighted design and assemble customised solutions to match real world expectations in his presentation.
Future of Artificial Intelligence and Edge Computing
Mehdi Kasmi, Global Head of Sales and Vertical Offers, Edges and Artificial Intelligence, Atos discussed the full range of edge computing servers from edge data center or cloud to far edge and present computer vision offering well recognised on the market. He also talked about how edge computing plays a vital role in artificial intelligence.
Unique demands of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning Solutions
Timothy Lanfear, Director, Solution Architecture and Engineering EMEA, Nvidia highlighted 25 years of computing acceleration and new computing and said that the world of high performance computing is very different today and networking is a key aspect of any computing design these days.
The event was concluded with an interactive question and answer session and closing note by the speakers.
