The World CIO 200 Grand Finale 2026 begins today in Sri Lanka, bringing together CIOs, technology leaders, government representatives and industry experts from around the world for three days of leadership, knowledge sharing, networking and recognition.
Taking place from 22–24 September at Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, the Grand Finale brings together a global community of technology leaders from 60+ countries, with 300+ CIOs and senior technology leaders expected to participate.
The three-day programme opens with the Tech Marathon Flag-Off Ceremony and Networking, followed by a Welcome Dinner and country delegation introductions on Day 1.
Day 2 begins with the arrival of the Hon. Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, followed by the Lamp Lighting Ceremony, cultural performance and official opening. The programme features a series of keynote sessions and discussions covering digital nations, enterprise cloud transformation, AI, women in technology, public-sector innovation and cross-border technology partnerships. The day also includes the launch of BOTS 2026, the Global CIO Journal, networking and a fireside conversation.
Day 3 continues with discussions around digital transformation, cybersecurity, AI, financial services, healthcare and technology-led development in Sri Lanka. Delegates will also take part in a Kahoot Challenge, a Cyber Drill, the CIO Leadership Class of 2025–2026 graduation ceremony and the official summit closing ceremony.
The Grand Finale will conclude with the Gala Dinner, featuring a look back at the Global CIO Forum journey, awards and felicitation, dinner, entertainment and an evening of celebration.
Across the three days, the Grand Finale creates opportunities for global technology leaders to exchange ideas, build meaningful connections and explore how technology can contribute to a more connected and digitally enabled future.
