The 6th edition of the World CIO 200 Summit Roadshow was successfully held on 20th May 2026 at Lancaster Accra, bringing together Ghana’s leading CIOs, CISOs, technology executives, and digital transformation leaders for a high-impact evening focused on collaboration, innovation, and leadership in the digital era.
Hosted by the Global CIO Forum, the summit reinforced the importance of collective intelligence and cross-industry collaboration in shaping resilient digital ecosystems across Africa.
The event was supported by Gold Partner ManageEngine and Supporting Partner BrainWave AfricaTech, both of whom played a key role in enabling conversations around enterprise technology, operational excellence, and digital transformation maturity.
A powerful gathering of global technology leadership
The summit opened with the National Anthem, followed by a welcome address from Ronak Samantaray, CEO & Co-Founder of Global Enterprise Connect, who highlighted the growing importance of global CIO collaboration and ecosystem-led transformation.
This was followed by the Global Board Opening Address delivered by Venkatesh Mahadevan, Global Board Member of Global CIO Forum, who emphasized the power of shared knowledge and leadership communities in accelerating digital progress.
The official opening address was delivered by Dr. George Mensah, President of Global CIO Forum Ghana. He set the tone for the summit by stressing the importance of aligning technology leadership with national and enterprise transformation goals.
Community – Power of collective intelligence
The COMMUNITY track reflected the theme: “Technology is powerful. Collective intelligence is unstoppable.”
The keynote titled “The Collaborative CIO – Powering Cross-Industry Tech Alliances” was delivered by Clara B. Arthur, Chief Executive of GhIPSS, who highlighted how ecosystem partnerships are transforming financial and digital services across Ghana.
The subsequent panel discussion, “From Competition to Co-Creation: Why CIO Communities Win Faster,” was moderated by Benjamin Osei Boateng, Media Communication Specialist at Easy Water for Everyone.

Knowledge – AI, Data and the future economy
The KNOWLEDGE track featured a keynote titled “AI, Data Sovereignty & The Next Knowledge Economy”delivered by Samuel Tettey Amanor, Founder & CEO of BlueSPACE Financial Cloud.
The case study session was moderated by Abel Daitey, Chief Information Officer at GCB Bank Limited.
The featured speaker, Wahab Adams Hamidu, Group Head Information Technology at Hollard Ghana and Program Chair – Events & Engagement at Global CIO Forum Ghana, shared practical insights on digital transformation execution, measurable ROI, and enterprise modernization.
Vendor keynote – Operational gaps in transformation
A thought-provoking session was delivered by Caleb Jimoh, Innovation and Product Development Lead at BrainWave AfricaTech, titled “The Operational Control Gap: Where West African Digital Transformation Actually Breaks.”The keynote addressed governance gaps and operational challenges in enterprise digital transformation journeys.
Health – Leadership and resilience
The HEALTH track focused on executive wellbeing under the theme “The Burnout-Proof CIO.” The session was moderated by Audrey Mnisi, Banking Operations, Risk and Cybersecurity Officer at Ghana Association of Bankers.

The HUMAN segment concluded the knowledge tracks with a keynote titled “Human-Centric Digital Transformation”delivered by Ebo Richardson, Principal Lead at G-Money Financial Services.
The session emphasized ethical AI adoption, workforce transformation, diversity in leadership, and embedding human values into enterprise digital strategies.
CIO 200 Recognition ceremony
The CIO 200 Recognition Ceremony honored outstanding technology leaders across Ghana for excellence in innovation, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation. The awards celebrated CIOs and CISOs from leading institutions across banking, insurance, education, and enterprise sectors, recognizing their continued contribution to digital advancement.
