The Global CIO Forum (GCF) Academy has entered into a strategic partnership with HELP University Malaysia to launch the Foundational Micro Learning – Certification Program, a unique initiative designed to empower technology and business leaders with flexible, practical, and globally recognized learning opportunities.
The program offers short, impactful modules tailored to the demanding schedules of CIOs and senior executives. It focuses on building strong foundational skills while awarding certifications that enhance professional growth, leadership capabilities, and global career prospects.
In addition to micro learning, the collaboration provides an advanced academic pathway for highly experienced leaders. CIO members with over 20 years of professional experience will have the opportunity to pursue a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) or a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business, Management & Entrepreneurship through HELP University, in partnership with GCF Academy.
Tushar Sahoo, Founder of Global CIO Forum, commented: “At the Global CIO Forum, we believe continuous learning is the cornerstone of effective leadership in the digital era. Our partnership with HELP University combines academic excellence with practical flexibility, creating opportunities for CIOs and business leaders to continuously upskill, gain recognition, and inspire future generations of digital leaders.”

Dr Rachel Wong, Senior Lecturer of HELP University, added: “We are proud to partner with the Global CIO Forum Academy to deliver innovative micro learning programs alongside doctoral opportunities. Together, we aim to create a learning ecosystem that supports leaders at every stage of their professional journey — from foundational skill-building to advanced academic research.”
Anushree Dixit, Chief Strategy Officer of Global CIO Forum, said: “This partnership is about reimagining executive education for the modern CIO. By combining micro learning with advanced academic pathways, we are not just teaching skills — we are shaping leaders who can navigate disruption, drive transformation, and create impact across industries and borders.”
James Thang, GCF’s Malaysia Ambassador, noted: “HELP University has always been committed to delivering world-class education with real-world relevance. Through our partnership with the Global CIO Forum Academy, we are opening new doors for digital leaders to access globally recognized programs that strengthen both professional capabilities and academic excellence.”
This partnership reflects the shared vision of HELP University and GCF Academy: to provide globally relevant, accessible, and high-impact education that equips digital leaders to thrive in a rapidly evolving business and technology landscape.
