Bahrain Chapter
Bahrain has set clear and forward-looking goals for its digital future, with the Economic Vision 2030 and the National Digital Transformation Strategy underscoring the Kingdom’s ambition to position itself as a leading digital and financial hub in the region. With a strong emphasis on smart government services, fintech innovation, cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence (AI), Bahrain is actively shaping a digital-first economy.
Aligned with this vision, the Bahraini government continues to invest in advanced digital infrastructure, including nationwide fiber connectivity, early adoption of 5G, cloud-first policies, and a robust regulatory framework that supports innovation. Initiatives such as Smart Government Services, the FinTech Bay ecosystem, and open banking regulations are enabling businesses and startups to rapidly adopt emerging technologies, scale efficiently, and compete globally. These efforts are fostering a dynamic digital environment where technology acts as a key driver of economic diversification, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
