Kenya Chapter

Kenya has become a trailblazer in Africa’s digital transformation. The country’s Vision 2030 plan, aimed at establishing Kenya as a middle-income economy by the end of the decade, underscores the importance of technology in national development. The government’s commitment to digitizing public services and expanding e-Government platforms has created new opportunities for businesses and citizens alike.

The Kenya National Broadband Strategy, which aims to expand high-speed internet access across the country, and initiatives like M-Akiba (Kenya’s mobile savings bond) and M-Pesa (the mobile money service) have already placed Kenya on the global map for innovation.
