Krishnan Gopi is the Group Chief Disruption Officer at GEMS Education. He is currently leading the charge to disrupt from within to challenge the status-quo and create agile, scalable and future-ready technology capabilities for the education needs of ‘Education of Today & Tomorrow’. In this journey, he is leading multiple strategic initiatives globally such as Digital Transformation, EdTech, IP Building, Disruptive Innovation, Enterprise Mobility, Process Engineering & Automation, Data Analytics and Technology Consolidation & Standardization, Education Digital Eco-system rationalization resulting in huge customer satisfaction, control improvements, increase in process efficiencies and reduction of operational costs.

Mr. Krishnan is a Strategic Technology Leader with two decades of International experience and successful track record of spearheading Technology led Business Transformations for Fortune 100 companies. His prior work experience includes successful stints at large corporates such as Al Hilal Bank, QIB Group, BankMuscat, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Fidelity Investments and Citigroup. He has been awarded recently as “Digital Disruptive Leader of the Year” by MIT Sloan / Khaleej Times at DIGITRANS 2019 & 2018 and voted as "Digital Disruptor of the Year" at CDO Conclave 2018 in addition to his numerous honors and awards.
