Dr. Deepshikha S.Sabharwal
She actively works for addressing SDGs in relation to Energy and Environment field for more than 14 years and has published more than 20 articles including resrearch papers in journals, conferences and workshops. With a master’s degree in Environmental Management, she was awarded a Doctorate in Natural Resource Management in June 2013 from TERI University (currently known as TERI SAS, New Delhi, India). During the course of the doctorate degree, she was a Fellow for TWAS-Nxt in Lyon, France in 2009 and was awarded a Travel Grant in 2010 at GRAIE, Rhone-Alps Region.
Currently, she is associated with Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Denmark) and presently, she is working in the capacity of Commercial Head (Water and Environment, Cleantech and Smart Cities) at The Trade Council, Royal Danish Embassy, Delhi, India. The role comprises of promoting Danish technological and Innovation Environments, Start-ups, SMEs, Big Companies and Public Utilities in Energy and Environment Space in India and other South Asian countries like Maldives, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal. She has also spearheaded Nordic Sustainable cities in India.
She has technical knowledge of Wind Energy, Repowering, Solar-wind hybrids and has worked as Senior Manager-Technical (Wind Resource assessment) at WinDForce Management Services Pvt. Ltd. (India) for various bilateral and multilateral projects in globally.
