Derrick is a seasoned IT leader with numerous successes in guiding strategic direction and enterprise implementation of retail, transportation and accounting systems with emerging technologies to ensure maximum operational impact.

Derrick has been with RaceTrac for more than 18 years and has held a number of positions, where he showcased his talent for managing risk, anticipating business needs, and working through process developments to achieve change. He is now the Executive Director over all Applications, Business Intelligence, Tech Support, and QA.

An expert presenter, negotiator and communicator. Derrick believes in forging solid relationships with stakeholders, executive leaders and partners for developing innovative direction and building creative business solutions.

Derrick attended Georgia Southern University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems. Prior to joining RaceTrac, he was with MCI Telecommunications as well as consulting on his own. Professionally, he is a huge fan of Agile delivery and rapid change to make organizations more competitive. He is a huge Atlanta Falcons fan and enjoys spending his time with his two children.
