According to Tunisia Investment Authority, the ICT sector is in continuous growth and had contributed almost 7.5% of the GDP in 2017 – the ICT ecosystem consists of more than 1,800 companies spread mainly over the Greater Tunis area and the coastal cities and employs nearly 80,000 people.
The penetration rates of fixed and mobile internet have been growing strongly over the 2013 – 2019 period driven by the democratization of 4G and Data Boxes. The growth in the number of internet connections is driven by the democratisation of mobile data.

The GLOBAL CIO FORUM represents IT Executives and CIOs globally. Currently working in META region and with expansion plans globally, the GLOBAL CIO FORUM is a non-profit community of CIOs and IT leaders whose mission is to facilitate networking, sharing of best practices and executive development, and to collaborate on issues faced by the CIOs/IT Executives.
