[Zoom], February 12th, 2023 – The first CaaS (CIO as a Service) Townhall was held yesterday on Zoom, bringing together 63 Chief Information Officers (CIOs) from across the industry to discuss the achievements of the CaaS community and to map out a roadmap for the future.
The CaaS members, representing a broad range of industries and sectors, spoke about the progress that has been made in the platform and how it has transformed the way businesses operate. They also shared their vision for the future of the community, highlighting the key trends and developments that are affirmative to shape the industry over the next few years.
One of the major milestones celebrated at the first Townhall was the growth of CaaS as a platform, with the number of users and the volume of data being processed through the platform both increasing significantly. The members also discussed the advancements in UX and UI that have been made, and the ways in which they are working to ensure that these remain at the forefront of their priorities.

The CIOs who attended the Townhall had the opportunity to learn from the experiences and insights of 2 senior IT leaders – Manoj Saxena and Allauddin Fakir Mohammad – Co-Founding Members of CaaS – who represented the 2 disciplines of Technology Sustainability Strategy and Technology Operating Optmization respectively. With lively debates and discussions taking place on a wide range of topics, the event provided a platform for the CIOs to network and to collaborate, and to explore the potential for working together on future projects.
CaaS also launched its ‘Wellness and Fitness Initiative’ as one of the core values of the community. Alan Brouard represented this pillar and initiated a ‘Dust off your bicycle’ campaign for the CIOs to get together and cycle towards a better life.
