The Global CIO Forum is an independent not-for-profit representative for the public and private IT industry leaders. With over 20000+ CIOs/IT decision makers as members, the Global CIO Forum is the largest association at a global level.

The Global CIO Forum has established partnerships with a number of organizations that are committed to the profession of a CIO. The forum is open to a limited number of partnerships in five categories.

If you are interested in applying for a partnership, applications may be submitted online based on the type of partner relationship you are interested in.

Applications provide details on the specific criteria we assess in potential partnerships and will enable us to measure your partner request against our established criteria.

Once you have chosen your category, submit a

IT Industry

A business partnership with the IT organizations including technology vendors/partners.  The purpose of establishing this category is to facilitate the sharing of business and technology information with the members of the forum.

  • Provides Global CIO Forum members with relevant ICT industry insight, technology trends, and connections that contribute to the overall growth strategy.
  • Each partnership should be unique and exclusive. It should not duplicate effort in the market representing the same stakeholders.
  • The partnership should not inadvertently or directly compete with the GCF members/initiatives.
  • Solicitation of members is prohibited.

Events

An event partnership includes collaboration with global external IT events which provides knowledgeable benefits/offerings to the forum members.

  • The promoted events should not conflict with the timing/topic of the GCF events.
  • Provides Global CIO Forum members with relevant ICT industry insight, technology trends, and connections that contribute to the overall growth strategy.
  • Each partnership should be unique and exclusive. It should not duplicate effort in the market representing the same stakeholders.
  • The partnership should not inadvertently or directly compete with the GCF members/initiatives.
  • Solicitation of members is prohibited.

NGO

A non-commercial partnerships with the non-profit organizations who share the same vision as Global CIO Forum. This relationship shall provide mutual benefits to both associations.

  • Direct investment in GCF not required.
  • Each partnership should be unique and exclusive. It should not duplicate effort in the market representing the same stakeholders.
  • The partnership should not inadvertently or directly compete with the GCF members/initiatives.
  • Solicitation of members is prohibited.

Acemedic & Research

Over the last few years, the requirements from IT industry leaders have changed dramatically. A purely technical skillset is no longer sufficient. The Academic and Research partnership provides the complete information on e-skills, e-leaderships, and globally recognized education standards which contributes to academic achievement levels.

  • Objective is to carve out a unique CIO-relevant topic with partners who can expand ad support credible research offering to the members as well as capture industry visibility for our brand.
  • Provides Global CIO Forum members with relevant ICT industry insight, technology trends, and connections that contribute to the overall growth strategy.
  • Each partnership should be unique and exclusive. It should not duplicate effort in the market representing the same stakeholders.
  • The partnership should not inadvertently or directly compete with the GCF members/initiatives.
  • A formal document to be signed describing all deliverables.
  • Solicitation of members is prohibited.

Media

Partnerships with global media houses shall highlight the IT industry regarding the Global CIO Forum brand, its activities, press announcements, etc.
